The Marine Stewardship Council is an international non-profit organization. We recognize and reward efforts to protect oceans and safeguard seafood supplies for the future. We want future generations to be able to enjoy seafood and oceans full of life, forever. Our vision is of the world’s oceans teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations. Our mission is to use our ecolabel and fishery certification program to contribute to the health of the world’s oceans by recognizing and rewarding sustainable fishing practices, influencing the choices people make when buying seafood and working with our partners to transform the seafood market to a sustainable basis.
National Animal Supplement Council
The National Animal Supplement Council is a nonprofit industry group dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of companion animals and horses throughout the U.S. The NASC was formed in 2001 when a complicated and erratic regulatory environment threatened the multibillion-dollar animal supplement industry.
The NASC Quality Seal program was initiated as part of our ongoing effort to improve and standardize the industry. Different from the NASC logo, members must earn permission to display the Quality Seal by agreeing to adhere to NASC’s quality standards, and by submitting to an independent audit to ensure compliance with our rigorous quality system requirements.
When you see the Quality Seal on a product, you can trust it comes from a reputable company that has successfully passed an independent quality audit. Look for the Quality Seal wherever you purchase animal supplements.
Pet Sustainability Coalition
The Pet Sustainability Coalition is a nonprofit organization that partners with manufacturers, suppliers, brands, and retailers in order to leverage existing sustainability knowledge and experience as well as innovating solutions for sustainability issues facing the pet industry. PSC promotes continual sustainable improvement that directly reduces the impact of pet products on the global environment and community. PSC values genuine sustainability improvement that favors implementation and action oriented participation by their member companies. Annamaet sincerely appreciates this collaboration with PSC as we feel very strongly about our environment and natural resources, and their mission is to help keep us on track with accelerating this sustainability journey!
